AVWC is a non-auditioned choir and we welcome women of all orientations and levels of ability. We take new members at our January and September open rehearsals.

Dan Lauterbach
Accompanist

A native of Edson, Alberta, Dan Lauterbach arrived in Vancouver in 1990 and quickly became a mainstay of the city's gay and lesbian choral scene.

He has lent his skills to A Vancouver Women's Chorus continually since 1991, and in addition to his role with AVWC, Dan sings with the Vancouver Men's Chorus (also since 1991) and makes himself completely indispensable to the musical community by accompanying two other choirs as well, the Vancouver Lesbian and Gay Choir (1990) and the Rainy City Gay Men's Chorus (1997).
